The US Nationals 18u Scout team joined over 80 teams to battle it out for the 19th annual 18U WWBA National Championship held at the East Cobb Complex and various ballparks in the Greater Atlanta Area.
US Nationals Scout won the championship with a record of 9 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie. The team started tournament play on June 24, 2021, against US Elite GA 18u, and finished on July 1, 2021, against Georgia Bombers. Across the 8-day tournament, the US Nats played against competition from Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, and Illinois.
US Nats established themselves early on with an impressive 10-0 win over US Elite (GA). The team would continue to dominate on both sides of the ball, giving up 10 runs while scoring 79 in 10 games. Pitching dominated the plate, with US Nats hurlers throwing 6 shut-out games and 3 one-run games.
